Know About The Facilities In Mumbai International Airport

Often known as Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai Airport is the second busiest airport in India, serving more than 45 million passengers in a year. The airport has both the terminals; domestic and international. The airport has won the “Best airport in India and Central Asia award” at the Skytrax 2016 World Airport Awards because of the facilities it offers.


Let’s take a look at some of the facilities provided in Mumbai Airport:

Airport lounges


There is a wide range of airport lounges at Terminal 2:

    GVK Lounge

Located on Level 3 and 4 of terminal 2, GVK lounge is the best lounging option for business class passengers. The lounge provides various facilities for the passengers such as spa, library, business centres etc. You can also enjoy food and beverages.

    CIP Lounge

The CIP (Commercially Important Passengers) lounge is located on level 3 and 4 of terminal 2. You can just sit back and relax with luxury seating options while enjoying Wi-fi services in the lounge.

    Loyalty Lounge

The loyalty lounge is meant for the holders of eligible MasterCard, Visa, Priority Pass and Amex cards.  It provides various facilities such as buffet, unlimited alcohol beverages, reading materials etc.
 
    Pranaam Lounge

You can avail various facilities such as buffet, non-alcoholic beverages and wi-fi services at the Pranaam lounge. It also has baby care rooms and luggage storage facilities.

Inter-terminal shuttle bus

There is a free inter-terminal shuttle bus that runs between international and domestic terminals.  Both the terminals are located at a distance of around 5 kilometres.

Airport parking


There is a multi-level parking space for around 5000 vehicles at terminal 2. However, the airport does not allow free pickup from the arrival region.  You need to pay parking fees even for a short- stop.
